(2) Installation - 1-4 weeks per building: physical anchor mounting, cabling (power and network), network configuration, infrastructure validation. (3) Commissioning - 1-8 weeks: position accuracy testing, capacity verification, application configuration, integration testing. (4) Tag rollout - 1-4 weeks: tag assignment to assets/personnel, user training, parallel operation with existing systems. (5) Production cutover - phased or immediate transition to production use. Timeline varies dramatically by scale: small deployments (single zone, 50 tags) complete in 4-8 weeks; enterprise deployments (multiple buildings, 5000+ tags) require 6-12 months. Deployment challenges include: coordinating work around production schedules (typically requiring evening/weekend installation), RF interference from existing equipment requiring troubleshooting, unexpected coverage gaps requiring additional infrastructure, and change management (users adapting to new processes).
